Colourpop haul

Hello, hello, hellooo. This is the very first review on my blog and  there would be a LOT MORE in the future. Anyways, since themakeupstoremnl had a buy 1 get 1 sale (and I think there is still some left in their inventory), I chose to blow all my money on colourpop cosmetics lip products. Which are in the ultra metallic (DM & Lights Out), ultra satin (Petit Four) and ultra glossy (Piranha & My Jam) shades. I also got one lippie stix in fetch to even it out. I know some Colurpop's website doesn't sell some of these shades anymore, I just wanted to share my thoughts.

LIPPIE STIX: FETCH

In the picture it kinda looks rosy but it's actually fuchsia when you see it face to face. I actually thought that the lippie stix was as long as the box that it came with, but it wasn't. If only the box was a snug fit so the product doesn't move around, but hey, that's just me. As for pigmentation, I am blown away. One swipe intensity, that's for sure and it's also creamy when applied on the lips. Overall I liked the lippie stix in fetch.

ULTRA METALLIC: LIGHTS OUT
First up in the liquid lips is lights out. Okay so, with one swipe this is what lights out looks like. It isn't that opaque as you want it to be which kinda sucks and kinda amazing. It sucks since you can't wear it alone, BUT, if you layer it over a lip pencil, this would be a stunning lip topper. Pigmentation wise, it's an ehh. But I plan to use it over dark lipsticks anyways.

ULTRA METALLIC: DM

Now, for the Ultra Metallic that's really pigmented. Wow, one swipe and the copper colour really comes through. Now this is a metallic that you can wear alone. The only con I noticed, was how hard it is to remove with a wet wipe. Some of the pigment still remain, but I managed to removed it after vigorously rubbing it back and forth with the said wipe. Just to add, both of these metallics are creamy and lightweight. Perfect for everyday use (If you're into metal lips daily, then why not?) 

ULTRA GLOSSY: MY JAM (METALLIC)

For the glosses, I can't say anything. THIS is first time I encountered glosses that are not overly sticky, It just feels like regular lipstick but more slippery on the lips. For this shade what I really love is the micro glitter in it. I mean who doesn't love glitter? The only thing I noticed was how the glitters stayed on your lips after using a wet wipe on it. It's not necessarily a con, but it's just something I noticed.

ULTRA GLOSSY: PIRANHA
This is a creamy- beige gloss that literally looked like I added some Cetaphil on my lips. But honestly, who uses gloss alone? It doesn't suit my lips bare, but I'm sure there are some people out there who will suit this gloss for that "natural lip shine" look.

ULTRA SATIN: PETIT FOUR
Aww Yiss. This has got to be my most favourite purchase among everything above. How many times do you get to see someone with gray lips walking around. I bet that's rare. It's SO PIGMENTED (This is literally what the pigment from the wand without re-dipping it again), SO CREAMY and most importantly, the colour is UNIQUE.  The only downside since it's a satin is how fast it could go away. Just eat something and I bet most of it will rub off. So you better eat before applying this lip.

There you go, that has been my haul, lip swatches and review. Overall, I wasn't disappointed with my purchase, in fact I loved it. I plan on creating various looks with these in the future. Hope you enjoyed!
