Villa Escudero

This is what happens when your parents are at times spontaneous. They take you to places you never knew existed. They actually just wanted to go here to try and eat at the foot of a waterfall. hahaha...
FIrst impression: A "province- y" feel. I'm gonna get bored easily
Honestly this place is not that bad. They offer a lot of things to do honestly, so you better prepare yourself for some outdoor activities.

The place has great amenities for water activities such as pools for swimming, lakes for bamboo rafting and obviously a waterfall where you can eat at the foot of. They even have rooms if you ever wanted to stay overnight.

They also have a "Philippine Experience" show that showcases the various customs and traditions throughout the entire Philippines.

There's also a carabao ride that transports you from your parking area to the actual place where everything's gonna happen. It also tours you around the place.

They also have a museum that shows you the rich culture and history of the Place and the Philippines. It has an old Spanish Church facade painted with pink and white accents. Even though it might not be a real church, there is a real one in the villa.
Lunch was a buffet, where you get to eat at the foot of the waterfall. You get to dip your toes in the shallow water while enjoying your food. The refill was kinda slow though and the options are limited. After that, it's your choice to get fully drenched afterwards.
Overall, I think the place was pretty good. You get to spend time with your family while enjoying all the activities laid out for you and at the same time, learn a little bit more about the Philippines' heritage and culture.
